ROBERT S. MESSINA
Founder and President
Robert S. Messina is the founder and president of Financial Resources Group (FRG). Bob brings his vast knowledge and background in corporate financing and financial restructuring to help clients effectively and safely plan for their retirement. Bob has decades of experience in the corporate arena in both public and privately held corporations, including Fortune 500 companies as well as start up companies. His specialty has been the financial restructuring of such companies at the operational level in order to achieve profitability. Additionally, Bob has served on the Board of Directors for both public and privately held companies.
Over the past decade, Bob has served as a mentor for a financial services organization, mentoring hundreds of financial professionals across the United States ~ speaking at industry events and supporting the business development of advisors across the country who share his investment philosophy.
Originally from New York City, Bob was raised in New Jersey and received his Bachelor of Science degree from Rider University. He initially worked on the East Coast before moving to California in 1983.
Bob is the proud father of three sons, Mattingly, Michael and Robert. The family enjoys a number of sports, particularly baseball. Bob is a physical fitness enthusiast and an avid golfer.
Director of Marketing
Ela was primarily raised in Hawaii but has lived in Germany and throughout the vast United States, worldly from her military upbringing and seven-year flight attendant experience.
Over the past twelve years, Ela has assisted Bob in helping clients in Orange County keep their money safe in the retirement phase of their life.
She previously worked as a senior reporter and researcher for investment firms. Having experienced the stock market volatility over the past twenty years, Ela understands the need for safer investments.
Ela is responsible for all the company marketing including client events and workshop planning. She also manages Bob’s calendar and scheduling his appointments.
Client Services Manager
Angelique has been a life and health insurance agent since 2005. As our Client Services Manager, she processes all new business as well as administrates existing accounts and takes care of daily office management. She enjoys assisting clients with prompt and accurate information and making their experience as seamless as possible.
Angelique grew up in Belmont Shore and currently lives in Huntington Beach with her husband. She loves to travel as much as possible and enjoys spending time at the beach with her family, Labradors, and horse.
